Feel free to use the button on your blog!
With the 4th of July just around the corner, and Memorial Day just a few days behind us, I want to host a red, white, and blue tag swap. I have a thing for colors, as you may know if you participated in the Charming Color Swap I hosted a few months ago. The red, white, and blue combination is one of my favorites. For this swap, you will make 15-20 tags depending on the numbers of players (20 is the limit), and receive an altered tag book once all of the tags are completed including your own tag before the 4th of July to display proudly.
Here are the rules:
1. Make 15-20 tags; I will let you know the exact number the day the swap sign-ups close, which is June 8th.
2. The tag size should be 4 3/4" x 2 3/8". You can buy them this size at your local office supply store, or you can make them yourselves. Please be sure to use sturdy cardstock if you make them yourself though.
3. The tags should be vintage-inspired, patriotic, and have the color scheme red, white, and blue. Feel feel to use a variety of embellishments: lace, ribbon, glitter, buttons, brads, vintage ephemera, charms. A cluttered up tag is the prettiest, in my opinion!! You can decorate the back of the tag if you want, but make sure that you put your information on the back of your tag and blog url if you have one.
4. The tags should be sent to me by June 22, so I have enough time to put them together and get them to you before July 4th. When you send me your delicious tags, send me $5 for the book ring, and postage. Also, please send me a self-addressed label to make life easy for the frazzled pregnant lady (me) ;).
Convinced, yet? If you've never made this many tags, you should get your feet wet, and try it!! You won't be disappointed when a stack of beautiful tags arrives at your doorstep! :)
To join, send me the following information via email [Jessrodarte(at)verizon(dot)net]: your name, mailing address, email address, and your blog url by June 8th.
